Step 1 Remove any traces of old varnish
If you want perfectly painted nails, remove all traces of the previous varnish is essential. The best way to proceed is as follows:
Wrap the tip of your finger with a cotton wool or cotton soaked in solvent and cleansing stick made with a piece of foil.
Let stand 5 minutes; your nail should then be removed like a flower in a movement.
Step 2 Spread a base layer
This is an important step that is often overlooked. This transparent base layer protects the nail lacquer against and prevents it from discoloring.
Before covering varnish, verify that the "primary" is dry. To find out, check briefly touch with a finger of the other hand. If nothing sticks, it's good.
Step 3 Ask the varnish
Never cover the whole of the nail. Leave a thin band at the base of the nail; it's more elegant and nail seems longer.
Do not start too far. Place the brush in the middle of the nail and press. The hairs will thus be divided cleanly. Go to the top.
Do this three-movement; first the middle, then left, then right. Proceed the same way with a second coat. Having waited until the first is dry.
Step 4 The topcoat!
If you want a perfect job, the varnish is a must. With this layer, the varnish lasts longer staying brighter.
