
The Brush Contest will see 12 world class makeup artists compete for the first prize at the Festival. Presented by Eva Longoria, the final competitors will work with L'Oréal Paris of muses such as Doutzen Kroes, Karlie Kloss, Barbara Palvin, Soo-Joo Park or Lara Stone.
Filmed from 17 to 20 May at the Hotel Martinez on the Croisette, the competition will run through a series of episodes broadcast on the YouTube channel of L'Oréal Paris as of June 10, with the winner being announced on June 18
Artists are fighting for the title of "Expert Makeup" brand. A title that comes with a one year contract with L'Oréal Paris worth 100,000 euros.
Finalists have the Australian Vivianne Tran, whose makeup "color-clash" is a highlight, and the Canadian Caitlyn Dixon, known for its glamorous look explosives.
Also present will be Germany's Alexandra Lederer, the finalist video shows her create a stunning multicolor eye, Paula Sorora Spanish and Chinese Jie Yang.
Jamie Tan Malaysian and Turkish Muesser Sumer are also fans of this eye. The US will be represented by Jeannie Giannone, while Emma Farrell, who lives in Dublin, Ireland, will represent the UK. Thailand will also be represented in the competition. The French competitor Salina El Aliani, who was victorious in the national final and impressed the jury with Inès de la Fressange was a member, will be present too.
